ConcordMeds Editorial Team

The ConcordMeds Editorial Team creates caregiver-focused medication content using authoritative clinical, government and peer-reviewed sources.

What the editorial team does

The editorial team researches medication-management topics, checks important medical claims against authoritative sources and translates clinical information into plain language for family caregivers.

ConcordMeds does not use anonymous health blogs or unsupported summaries as the primary evidence for medical claims.

How sources are selected

Priority is given to official clinical guidance, government health agencies, established medication databases, peer-reviewed research and recognized professional organizations.

  • American Geriatrics Society
  • U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  • National Institutes of Health / National Library of Medicine
  • NICE and NHS
  • MHRA and European Medicines Agency
  • Peer-reviewed medical journals and systematic reviews

What “evidence reviewed” means

The evidence-review date shows when the supporting sources and important medical claims on a page were last checked against the available guidance.

It does not mean that a clinician has personally reviewed the article unless a named clinical reviewer is explicitly shown.

Clinical review

ConcordMeds will identify a clinician by name and credentials only when that person has actually reviewed the content.

Until then, articles are attributed to the ConcordMeds Editorial Team and supported by visible source references. No medical qualifications or endorsements are implied.

Corrections and updates

Medication guidance can change. When an authoritative source updates its recommendations, affected ConcordMeds content should be reviewed and updated where necessary.

Medical-information limitation

ConcordMeds provides educational information and medication-management support. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace individualized advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional.
